Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a full-time Trainer in the Washington, DC area to conduct comprehensive training programs in line with federal and local requirements and Allied Universal standards. The role covers CPR/First Aid/AED, Defensive Tactics, Mobility Devices, Fire Safety Services, and workplace violence/active shooter training, coordinating with HR and branch managers to ensure policy compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in security, safety, or training field
• Minimum of two (2) years of professional-level experience in learning program development and classroom instruction
• Able to work independently with little to no direct supervision
• Ability to write manuals, review, and respond to written requests for proposals, training documents, and prepare extensive presentations is required
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
• Ability to deliver training in accordance with laws and Allied Universal standards

Responsibilities

• Develop practical training programs at the branch level to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory mandated training
• Identify and establish relationships with local training academies for external training opportunities
• Communicate with stakeholders across regions and operations
• Deliver field training programs in compliance with laws and standards
• Deliver CPR/First Aid/AED training
• Conduct Defensive Tactics, Mobility Devices, Fire Safety Services training
• Lead leadership training programs for Security Professionals and Supervisors
• Support the region with special projects as needed
