Job summary

Parsons seeks a security training leader to coordinate and elevate training across four 24/7 sites, supporting up to 100 contract security officers. You will oversee onboarding, site familiarization, and required training while monitoring compliance and delivering timely reports to the Sponsor.

You will partner with program management and Sponsor leadership to identify improvements, analyze trends, and update training tools and SOPs. A TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of related Physical Security experience, or high school diploma with 4+ years of experience.
• Strong analytical skills to track, interpret, and report operational or training data/metrics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint) and experience with Smartsheet or similar tools.
• Proven ability to train, mentor, and guide personnel to meet performance and compliance standards.
• Demonstrated success working with customer leadership to identify issues, implement changes and address operational requirements.
• Familiarity with performing security related audits/testing and compliance processes.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, briefing).
• Current/active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate security training programs across four 24/7 sites, supporting up to 100 contract security officers.
• Conduct onboarding, site familiarization, and required security training (e.g., lock combination protocols, incident reporting, alarm response).
• Monitor training compliance, track completions, and prepare reports for the Sponsor.
• Analyze training needs, develop process improvements, and update program requirements.
• Support program management with data collection, trend analysis, and reporting.
• Serve as a liaison between the Program Manager, senior officers, and Sponsor leadership.
• Maintain program tracking tools (e.g., Smartsheet, SharePoint) for accurate information sharing.
• Audit workplace safety with Sponsor and ensure timely reporting.
• Develop or assist in OJT training and standard training courses; evaluate effectiveness.
• Perform ad hoc training related activities as needed.
