AdventHealth in Wesley Chapel, FL seeks an experienced Training Specialist to develop comprehensive security and de-escalation curricula. You will create lesson plans, manage schedules, and coordinate sessions for staff and security personnel to ensure program delivery and compliance.

Responsibilities include assessing training needs, building CBT modules, leading trainings, and aligning with incident command and licensing standards.

Responsibilities

• Develops comprehensive lesson plans for security-related and de-escalation training programs.
• Maintains and updates training schedules for timely delivery.
• Coordinates and facilitates training sessions for staff and security personnel.
• Monitors compliance with department policies and licensing requirements.
• Assesses training needs and designs programs for job competencies.
• Implements and evaluates developmental programs for officers and leadership.
• Develops Computer Based Learning (CBL) modules.
• Serves as primary instructor or arranges subject matter experts.
• Evaluates and revises training materials for changes and effectiveness.
• Provides ongoing evaluation and structured feedback for education programs.
• Benchmarks against successful programs and integrates best practices.
• Coordinates the Field Training Program and ensures proper documentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
