Job summary

Mount Sinai is seeking a Security Supervisor Trainer to support West and Morningside campuses by designing and delivering security training programs. The role requires analyzing training progress, maintaining records, and guiding staff through mandatory trainings.

In addition to delivering sessions, you will coordinate space, scheduling, and resources while partnering with leadership to ensure high learning transfer and adherence to security policies.

Qualifications

• Requires HS Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree, military experience, or two years of college coursework preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in knowledge of computers and training skills.
• NYS Security Guard License required.
• CPI Certified Instructor.
• Basic Instructor or Instructor Development Course within 6 months of starting.
• BCLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Leadership in developing, coordinating, presenting and following up on training programs.
• Conduct orientations for new hires in Security guidelines, policy and procedure.
• Ensure all staff complete mandatory training and maintain records of completion.
• Manage training space, scheduling of sessions, and resources.
• Communicate with all levels to meet training needs.
• Support training across hospital disciplines in Crisis Prevention and Intervention.
