Job summary

Electrosoft Services, LLC is seeking a Security Tool Engineer – Palo Alto to join our team. You will administer, troubleshoot, and harden enterprise Palo Alto firewalls, while supporting Windows and RHEL infrastructure, virtualization, and backup systems. Strong scripting and automation are required to streamline operations and security controls.

The role requires cross-team collaboration, incident handling, and participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years IT infrastructure or information security experience.
• Strong hands-on Palo Alto firewall administration and support.
• Experience with Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, and networking.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, administer, maintain enterprise infrastructure across Windows and Linux.
• Administer and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls, policies, NAT, VPNs, and logs.
• Develop automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, and JavaScript.
• Support firewall upgrades, configuration changes, backups, and change management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve security and network issues.
• Analyze traffic, troubleshoot, and optimize network security posture.
