Job summary

Johnson Controls Service Technician is a troubleshooter and service expert. You will alleviate concerns customers may have regarding a security system; advise customers and the care center on system status and inspections.

You will repair or replace burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, Card Access and other security equipment. This role operates remotely from a base but will be set up with tools to work independently; you will provide high-level service to resolve building inefficiencies.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with Tyco Integrated Security or equivalent.
• Experience with Card Access and CCTV/IP cameras.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Electrical or electronics background required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service security systems including alarms and access.
• Advise customers and the care center on system status and inspections.
• Repair or replace faulty equipment and coordinate inspections.
• Provide timely quotes and upsell safe, efficient solutions.
