Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic computer experience and ability to read and enter data.
• Ability to read/write and interpret documents.
• Valid Driver’s License; travel to different Caterpillar locations.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor grounds for fires, vandalism, hazards and maintenance issues; report.
• Receive emergency calls and respond appropriately.
• Enforce safety policies, escort disruptive persons when necessary.
• Assist staff and emergency medical personnel in emergencies.
• Respond to alarms and dispatched calls with professional response.
• Work overtime and shift flexibility as needed.
• Analyze risks in confined spaces and perform air sampling.
• Operate safety vehicles and forklifts; Train the Trainer for Forklifts.
• Maintain in-house sprinkler systems and basic fire extinguishers.
