Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking a Machining I on second shift at the Corinth, MS remanufacturing site. You will load/unload machines, interpret blueprints, and perform quality checks in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications include basic computer skills, ability to read documents, machining experience, and proficiency with hand tools, gauges, and hoists. The role offers overtime, a comprehensive benefits package, and a 7% night-shift premium.

Qualifications

• Basic computer experience (ability to read standard work documents and enter data)
• Read/write and interpret documents
• Prior use of hoists
• Knowledge of engines and components
• Experience with basic tooling (hand tools, air tools, gauges, pneumatic tools, etc.)
• Previous machining experience
• Previous experience reading and interpreting blueprints
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Load and unload machines with minimal operator input.
• Interpret blueprints and perform quality checks based on standard work requirements.
• Understand torque requirements and processes.
• Operate hand tools, cordless tools, gauges, and vibration tools.
• May use overhead hoist to move large components.
• May operate CNC controls/programs and automated packaging equipment.
