Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Security Technician to join our team!

Clearance Requirements:

1. Must be able to attain or have a minimum of a SECRET clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
2. Must have a passport.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. This is a travelling installations technician spot. CONUS and OCONUS.
2. Maintain company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment.
3. Prepare reports of tests results and assessments of key electronic systems to ensure efficient operations.
4. Identify defects with various components and find suitable replacements.
5. Install, troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic equipment, including controls, power supplies, gauges, and sensors.
6. Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and multi-meters.
7. Pull and terminate low voltage signal and network cables.
8. Install, fusion-splice, and terminate fiber optic cable.
9. Read and understand installation design plans, schematics, and manufacturers’ literature for electrical and electronic components.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

1. Two-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program or equivalent work experience.
2. At least two years in electronics technology.
3. Experience with Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), intrusion detection systems (IDS), automated access control systems (ACS), and basic networking.
4. Experience terminating alarm devices, cameras, access control devices, and CAT-5 cabling.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

1. Experience on Vindicator, Lenel, and/or Bosch IDS and ACS systems is highly desired.
2. Fiber optic certifications are a plus.
3. Experience on large industrial/government projects is a plus.

Salary Range: $29.42 - $59.33
