Job summary

Paramount Companies is seeking an experienced Commercial Security/Hardware Technician & Integrator to lead installations, service projects, and client training. The role covers access control, IP camera systems, and VMS software integration with a strong emphasis on independent work and meeting deadlines.

The candidate should have 3–4 years of experience, be able to test systems, write operator manuals, and possess a valid driver’s license for on-site visits and a company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years’ experience with access control and security hardware.
• Experience with IP camera systems, VMS software, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to review design specs and propose practical solutions.

Responsibilities

Job description

Looking for an experienced Commercial Security/Hardware Technician & Integrator

• 3-4 Years’ Experience (References Required)
• Access Control Systems - Implementing, Badging, Troubleshooting & Maintenance
• Security Camera Systems - IP Cameras, VMS Software Implementation, Troubleshooting & Maintenance
• Security/Hardware system design and operation knowledge and a general understanding of commercial electrical systems is preferred
• Knowledge of Security/Hardware Management Systems is Required
• Schlage & Assa Abloy Door Hardware & Integrated Lock Experience Required
• Proficient in all areas of IT Required - Networking, Windows, Software Integration
• Proven background with reviewing Security/Hardware design specifications & plans to provide proper solutions and execute successful projects for our clients
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills Required
• Full Range Customer Service Skills Required
• Ability to think and work independently - meeting deadlines as required
• Ability to test Security/Hardware Systems and train all clients on proper use of their systems - develop and write internal & customer operation manuals on a per project basis
• Must possess a valid driver's license and no adverse driving history
• Ability to lift & carry heavy objects up to 50lbs.
• Dedicated focus on our commercial security/hardware business - This professional will cultivate & service all opportunities within the local market
• Meet directly with customers to establish needs and drive the overall project process with Management
• Conduct Customer site walkthroughs to estimate both Security/Hardware Installations & Service Opportunities
• Work directly with clients & staff throughout the design, development and delivery process with the support of Management Staff
• Provide Technical response to all customer questions, issues, or concerns in regard to any aspect of their project and be able to present workable and lasting solutions
