Security Technician

NETcom is seeking an experienced Access Control Systems Technician

In this position, you will utilize your Security skills to install, troubleshoot, repair and service Access Control and IP Video Systems.

If you have 2 to 5 years of experience working with commercial Security Systems, we would like to discuss an opportunity for a new career at NETcom.

Qualifications of Candidates:

• Previous experience in security installation, maintenance, or other related fields
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Ability to understand electrical wiring diagrams and circuits. Candidates should have a background in Security or the electrical field for this position.
• Must be able to troubleshoot electrical controls with a multimeter.
• Knowledge of card access, DVR products, DVMS, electronics, computer systems, electronics or networked applications.
• Certifications in the one or some of the following:
• Exacq
• Software House
• Milestone
• Salto
• Keyscan

NETcom Cabling and Security conducts background investigations as part of its hiring procedures. All offers are contingent upon the satisfactory results of the drug test and applicable background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
