Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Security Technician to service Broward County. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot intrusion, IP CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems across multiple manufacturers, delivering clear customer reports and timely repair plans.

You will inspect systems for proper operation, provide recommendations to improve facility efficiency, and collaborate with team members to ensure full functionality and reliable service.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in low-voltage or security industry.
• Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
• Ability to pass thorough background and identity checks.
• Well versed in Access Controls, CCTV, Burglary and Fire Alarms in Commercial Applications

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot intrusion, IP CCTV, access control and fire alarm systems.
• Inspect systems and provide written or digital reports to customer and company.
• Identify customer needs and inform them of next steps and repair processes.
• Provide quotes and solutions to improve facility efficiency and upsell where appropriate
