Job summary

IK Systems is seeking a Security System Technician - Travel to install and service large-scale, networked security systems nationwide. The Technician II role requires 3+ years in low-voltage install/service, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in low-voltage installation and service.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented mindset with focus on quality and efficiency.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel <100% nationally until further notice.
• Work performed in Charles County, Maryland requires a Charles County Restricted Master Electrician License or eligibility and a current certificate of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Install and service large-scale, networked low-voltage security systems.
• Support access control, surveillance, intrusion detection, and structured cabling.
• Collaborate with project teams to meet timelines and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize systems to suit customer needs.
• Represent IK Systems on-site and build strong customer relationships.
