Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking an Access Control Specialist to manage the ID badge program and security systems across the campus.

You will coordinate with the Facilities Integrated Service Center and hospital partners to assign access levels and troubleshoot issues. The role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of customer service experience; knowledge of databases and low voltage security systems is helpful.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Work Experience: 1 year of customer service.
• Driver's License: Not required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Program, maintain, and troubleshoot security systems installed throughout the WUSM Campus.
• Establish and activate ID badges with the proper access levels.
• Monitor security practices and identify opportunities to improve services.
• Collaborate with BJH Access Control and other entities to resolve issues.
• Make system changes for holidays, events, or campus closures.
• Move around campus as needed and cover for the supervisor.
