Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Security Systems Programming & Commissioning Specialist to join the Security and Electronic Systems unit. You will interpret drawings, configure devices, and troubleshoot field equipment for electronic security installations at client sites.

You will lead commissioning activities, coordinate with the customer’s testing agent, and support multiple projects concurrently. Travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of experience in installation, troubleshooting and/or testing of electronic security systems or
• Associates with 6+ years of experience

Responsibilities

• Pretest electronic security equipment before deploying to the field.
• Perform quality audit of security drawings prior to starting installation activities.
• Perform site surveys of customer sites and document conditions in Bluebeam.
• Configure field devices including IP addresses to cameras, firmware updates on access control boards, configuration files for Cisco switches, and door access configuration.
• Troubleshoot security field devices including cameras and access-controlled doors.
• Lead system commissioning activities with customer’s testing agent.
