Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Data Center Security Installation Commissioning Specialist to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

This on-site role works at a data center construction site in Sterling, VA, handling installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electronic security systems for diverse clients. The candidate should have 8+ years of related experience or an Associate with 6+ years, travel as needed, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 8+ years in security installations or an Associate's with 6+ years.
• Reliable attendance at customer sites during work hours.
• Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS.

Responsibilities

• Pretest electronic security equipment before deploying to the field.
• Perform quality audits of security drawings prior to starting installation activities.
• Conduct site surveys and document conditions in Bluebeam.
• Configure field devices including cameras, access control boards, and Cisco switches.
• Troubleshoot security field devices and pass acceptance testing.
• Lead system commissioning activities with the customer’s testing agent.
