Job summary

Integrated Protection Services is seeking a Security Technician to install project-specific devices in Cincinnati, OH. You will follow fire alarm, building, and electrical codes and mentor junior technicians on site.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, inspections, and coordinating with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion. Travel for jobs and ongoing training is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• 3–5 years of experience as an entry level technician or related industry
• OSHA-10 hour certification
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to operate hand and power tools
• Lift up to 75 lbs

Responsibilities

• Install project-specific devices to codes and standards
• Mentor, train and coach entry level technicians on jobsites
• Coordinate with project manager and other trades to complete projects on time
• Troubleshoot and diagnose system problems or failures
• Perform regular system inspections and preventive maintenance
• Analyze blueprints and drawings
• Travel as needed for projects and training
