Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3-5 years of experience as an entry level technician or related industry experience.
• OSHA-10 hour certification.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to unload, carry, and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Install project specific devices to standards of fire alarm, building, and electrical codes.
• Mentor, train and coach entry level technicians on jobsites.
• Use computers and software to program and set up security, access, CCTV, nurse call, or sound systems.
• Coordinate with project manager and other trades for efficient on-time completion.
• Inspect installations to ensure code compliance and project specs.
• Troubleshoot system problems and diagnose failures.
• Read and analyze blueprints and drawings.
• Install cabling or conduit per specs and codes.
• Travel as needed and learn new products and services.
