Job summary

Securitas Technology is hiring an Installation Technician in Amherst, NY. The role focuses on servicing and installing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV systems at customer sites. You will run wiring in confined spaces and ensure systems meet customer and contractual requirements.

Requirements include 1–2 years’ relevant experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid NY driver’s license. Vocational/technical degree and IP video/IT experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–2 years of experience installing/servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control and CCTV systems.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems is preferred.
• IP Video and IT experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installs intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control security systems.
• Run electrical wiring in attics, crawl spaces and other confined spaces.
• Complete wiring, connections and installations to meet requirements.
• Coordinate with Installation Lead/PM on on-site scheduling and delivery.
