Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Physical Security Hardware Specialist to assemble, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain security system infrastructure across facilities. You will install access control and CCTV, support hardware upgrades, and collaborate with security teams on standard procedures.

Required are a high school diploma and experience with security systems; preferred are Lenel and Avigilon software skills, plus the ability to work in high security environments and travel up to 35%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Experience working with security systems such as CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, or related systems.

Responsibilities

• Install security technology solutions including access control and CCTV.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and instrumentation.
• Ensure maintenance on installed systems is performed and tracked.
• Assist in job walks and determining needs for new installations.
• Fabricate, repair, and assemble hardware for security operations.
• Collaborate with staff to develop procedures for security technology use.
