Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Security Service Technician in Renton, WA. You will service and support existing customers, respond to service calls, and assist with small projects while upholding our customer-first culture.

You will collaborate with a team to diagnose and repair electronic security systems, including fire alarm and access control, and travel locally as needed. A valid WA license and hands-on technical aptitude are required.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Solid technical skills related to fire alarm systems and electronic security systems.
• Solid programming skills and ability to troubleshoot problems and find solutions.
• Must be a self-starter and work well with direct supervision.
• Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude with common hand/power tools.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and non-routine service calls, scheduled maintenance, and emergency after-hours calls in a timely manner; diagnose, repair, replace parts and debug systems.
• Provide custom systems integrations, system upgrades, audits, and/or database management as needed.
• Install and support a variety of networked security systems and equipment for projects.
• Complete accurate and detailed service reports to support invoicing and job costing.
• Maintain safety policies and work with team members to improve operations.
