Job summary

Kastle Systems is seeking an Electronic Security Field Engineer to design, install, and support security solutions for new and existing clients in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

You will review drawings, develop system designs, and provide technical assistance to on-site and in-office teams while staying current with security technologies such as access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in electronic security or related field.
• Degree preferred in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience in the industry.
• Experience in design and planning of access control and video systems.
• Certifications or training in electronic security systems are preferred (Lenel, Genetec, C‑Cure, Avigilon, Axis, Bosch, Milestone).

Responsibilities

• Understand standard electronic security technologies (ACS, IDS, FDS, CCTV) and supporting IT equipment.
• Review architectural and electrical drawings to plan security installations.
• Design, develop, and implement security system installations, upgrades, and conversions.
• Provide technical assistance with field surveys, RFIs/RFPs.
• Create solution design documentation including drawings and BOMs.
• Support on-site and in-office teams with technical guidance.
• Document new technology deployments with customers and teams.
• Stay current with leading electronic security technologies and vendors.
