Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Chantilly, VA seeks an Information Security Systems Engineer (ISSE) to design, implement, and sustain security solutions for national security systems. You will work with RMF, NIST SP 800-53/171, and CNNSI 1253 to certify accreditations and support DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines.

Onsite role requiring TS/SCI clearance, DoD 8140.03 Level 3/4 certs, and experience with SAST tools like Fortify/Coverity; SPLUNK for SIEM, and Gitlab CI/CD are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of related experience, or equivalent experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain SAP clearance if required.
• DoD 8140.03 Level 3 or 4 certification.

Responsibilities

• Respond to cyber threats and perform incident response per RMF.
• Develop and maintain System Security Plans and RMF artifacts.
• Assess security controls across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Support development/Sec testing with SAST tools and STIG compliance.
• Create data flow diagrams and interface control documents.
• Collaborate with engineers and vendors to certify security.
