Job summary
MGT Impact Solutions, LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer II to lead the implementation of access control, video surveillance, and alarm technologies for ongoing and new projects in Livermore, CA. The role collaborates with Sales, Project Management, Installation Teams, and the TAC to deliver secure, scalable security solutions.
The candidate will design layouts, perform site surveys, engineer integrated security systems, and prepare documentation.
Qualifications
- Five (5) or more years of experience in physical security systems
- Hands-on experience configuring and testing security systems
- Experience performing system integration testing
- Familiarity with Verkada and Avigilon platforms
- Strong reporting and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, and Operations to understand and implement approved designs
- Manage project timelines, documentation, and technical deliverables
- Configure and test cameras, access control, intercoms, and related devices
- Lead integration tests across security platforms and onsite teams
- Develop as-built drawings, asset lists, and end-user guides
- Provide TAC support and on-site assistance as needed
