Job summary

SicoSyndicate, the shared services company supporting SilencerCo and associated brands, seeks a hands-on Security & Compliance leader. You will own company-wide security programs, develop policies, and work with IT to implement controls across multiple units.

Qualifications

• 8 to 12 years in IT with meaningful depth in security and compliance.
• Direct experience with government contracting frameworks, ideally NIST SP 800-171 or CMMC.
• Working knowledge of SOC 2, PCI DSS, or ISO 27001.
• Track record of delivering projects from kickoff through completion on timelines.
• Strong IT fundamentals: Windows and Linux servers, M365 administration, IAM, networking, and endpoint management.
• Judgment to apply controls appropriately to business operations.
• Clear written communication for auditors and executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead readiness and ongoing compliance for CMMC Level 2 and NIST SP 800-171 across defense-adjacent units.
• Support SOC 2 and PCI DSS efforts, including evidence collection, control design, gap remediation, and audit coordination.
• Own security and infrastructure projects end to end: scoping, planning, vendor coordination, and risk reporting.
• Administer and improve security tooling: endpoint protection, IAM, SIEM, MFA, email security, vulnerability management, logging.
• Run access reviews, security awareness training, phishing simulations, and incident response exercises.
• Write and maintain policies and system security plans reflecting required frameworks.
• Partner with business leaders on risk decisions and vendor security questions.
• Collaborate on IT initiatives beyond security including Microsoft 365/Entra ID and network projects.
