Job summary

Cymertek Corporation seeks a dedicated Information System Security Officer to maintain the security posture of information systems, ensuring policy compliance and risk management. You will oversee assessments, monitor for vulnerabilities, and respond to threats in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate balances technical expertise with compliance requirements, holds a Bachelor’s degree, and requires U.S. citizenship for a TS/SCI Full Poly clearance.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in cybersecurity, IT, CS, or related field.
• Experience with NIST RMF and ISO 27001.
• Proficiency with SIEM and vulnerability scanners.
• Strong incident response and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of secure configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system security plans (SSPs).
• Perform regular risk assessments and audits.
• Monitor compliance with security policies and procedures.
• Oversee system vulnerability management and remediation efforts.
• Ensure adherence to security frameworks (NIST/RMF).
• Collaborate with teams to address security incidents and findings.
