Job summary

SilencerCo, via SicoSyndicate, is seeking a senior security leader to own company-wide security and compliance across multiple entities. You will partner with the Senior IT Manager and CTO to drive policy, risk decisions, and technology initiatives that strengthen the security posture across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in IT with deep security and compliance focus.
• Direct experience with government contracting frameworks (NIST SP 800-171 or CMMC).
• Working knowledge of SOC 2, PCI DSS, or ISO 27001.
• Track record of leading projects from kickoff to completion on committed timelines.
• Strong IT fundamentals across Windows, Linux servers, M365 administration, IAM, networking, and endpoints.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.
• Ability to discern when to enforce vs adapt controls to business needs.
• Clear written communication for auditors and executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead readiness and ongoing compliance for CMMC Level 2 and NIST SP 800-171.
• Support SOC 2 and PCI DSS efforts, including evidence collection and audit coordination.
• Own security and infrastructure projects end to end with planning, vendors, and timelines.
• Administer and improve security tooling (endpoint protection, IAM, SIEM, MFA, email security, vulnerability management).
• Conduct access reviews, security awareness training, phishing simulations, and incident response tabletop exercises.
• Write and maintain policies, procedures, and system security plans reflecting practices.
• Partner with business unit leaders on risk decisions, vendor reviews, and security questions.
• Collaborate with IT on MS 365/Entra ID, servers, networks, and endpoint management.
