Job summary

Foundry Robotics in San Francisco is actively seeking our first Head of Security to own the full security and compliance program end-to-end, guiding CMMC Level 2 efforts and establishing the security function as we scale. You’ll protect CUI and customer IP across edge, on-prem, and cloud, setting strategy and hiring a team to execute in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading security in a startup or fast-growing company.
• Experience achieving CMMC Level 2 or NIST SP 800-171 assessments end-to-end.
• Deep knowledge of ITAR/EAR export controls and CUI handling.
• Strong expertise in cloud security, identity, endpoint, and network security.

Responsibilities

• Own the security and compliance program end-to-end, including planning, execution, and certification efforts.
• Define security strategy, build a team, and manage budget and roadmap.
• Coordinate with engineering, IT, and leadership to make security a default.
• Lead incident response planning and tabletop exercises; serve in the IRT.
