Formación

• Associate’s degree in Information Systems Management, IT or CS or related discipline; or 2 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Management, IT or CS or related discipline; or 4 years of professional work experience.
• Effective knowledge of system troubleshooting and access controls/authorization system administration.
• Fundamental or effective knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with contractors/vendors.

Responsabilidades

• Manage, implement and support security technology installs and upgrades at corporate, regional facilities, substations and projects.
• Assess and recommend security technology solutions to meet regulatory standards and policies.
• Oversee architecture, integration and programming of security software and hardware across FirstEnergy’s footprint.
• Troubleshoot issues, coordinate with third‑party vendors, and ensure maintenance and testing compliance.
• Support compliance tasks including vulnerability assessments, password changes and recovery plans.

Educación

Associate’s degree in Information Systems Management / IT / Computer Science or related discipline

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Management / IT / Computer Science or related discipline

In lieu of a degree, 2 years of professional work experience

In lieu of a degree, 4 years of professional work experience

Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years experience (levels III/IV– note: per posting)
