Job summary
Ally Financial is seeking an Engineer - Physical Security Field Technician to protect people, facilities, and assets through enterprise security technologies. You will install, configure, and maintain access control, video surveillance, and related infrastructure while collaborating with project teams and vendors.
The role requires hands-on technical work, the ability to interface systems with networks, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in security integration or similar field.
- Experience with access control, video management, surveillance systems.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel domestically.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support physical security systems.
- Interface access control and video management with internal networks.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, third-party integrators, and business partners.
- Oversee external integrators and guide junior technicians.
