Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a System Administrator 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems unit in Salt Lake City. You will design, test, and maintain electronic security services across access control, video, and biometric systems for federal, local, and commercial customers.

You will coordinate across security technologies, manage commissioning, testing, and close-out deliverables, and travel to site as needed to ensure system readiness and successful project completion.

Qualifications

• Experience commissioning electronic security systems.
• Knowledge of access control, video surveillance, and integrated security tech.
• Strong understanding of commissioning docs and processes.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning & testing plans; manage schedules.
• Coordinate with security leads and installers.
• Witness and validate system commissioning tests.
• Review commissioning scripts; ensure full testing.
• Lead cross-functional coordination for system readiness.
• Manage punch lists and deficiency resolution.
• Prepare commissioning reports and close-out docs.
• Perform onsite field visits and verify installations.
