Job summary

Facility Control Systems (FCS) seeks a detail-oriented CADD Drafter / Project Coordinator to support design and execution of security and low-voltage projects. This hybrid role blends drafting with practical project coordination in a fast-paced integrator environment.

You will collaborate with project managers, field technicians, vendors, and clients to ensure drawings reflect real conditions and projects stay on schedule, with quality closeout documentation and BOM support.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (~3-5 years experience).
• Ability to read construction drawings and adapt them to field conditions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and project coordination tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design & Drafting: Produce and update drawings for access control, cabling, floor plans, device layouts, riser diagrams, and wiring schematics using AutoCAD and Revit; incorporate field markups and BOM support; generate as-built drawings for closeout.
• Project Coordination: Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, closeout docs, and material ordering; coordinate with vendors and warehouse; provide daily/weekly updates to project managers and field teams.
• Field & Operational Support: Review site conditions, photos, and markups for accuracy; occasionally visit jobsites for verification; assist with commissioning prep and punch list tracking.
