M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Security Assembly Technician 2 within the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit in Tysons, VA. The role focuses on assembling, wiring, and testing security equipment for federal, local, and commercial customers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with assembly, wiring, and documentation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares equipment, devices, and components for shipping.
• Reads, interprets, and follows fabrication documents and drawings to assemble equipment.
• Assists with verifying, testing, and documenting wiring terminations and basic components.
• Maintains progress status by documenting actions and ongoing needs.
• Documents asset tags and updates progress in applicable systems.
• Follows project safety plans (JHA, AHA, PFW).
• Assembles racks, enclosures, back panels, and components for fit and fastening.
• Routes and terminates basic copper cables and assemblies.
• Assembles basic copper cable harnesses.
• Cuts/drills materials and kits equipment for assembly/shipping.
• Other duties as assigned.
