Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Security Assembly Technician 3 in Virginia to lead teams assembling equipment enclosures, racks, and related security hardware. The role involves wiring, testing, documentation, and ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with 6+ years of experience, plus electronics or electrical training. Strong communication, leadership, and blueprint-reading skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6+ years of experience.
• Military mechanical, electrical, electronics training is a plus.
• Graduation from electronics or electrical apprenticeship program or additional 2 years of related installation/maintenance is preferred.
• 6+ years of mechanical, electrical, electronic installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints or assembly instructions.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams on assembly projects for enclosures, back panels, racks, carts.
• Kitting equipment and materials, documenting assets.
• Perform final QA-QC checks and ensure shipment readiness.
• Mentor subordinates and coordinate schedules across projects.
• Set up and operate CNC machines and verify files.
