The Security Systems Sales Executive supports our new construction business within the commercial Security Systems team. Your role involves developing and executing plans to grow relationships with contractors, consultants, developers, and end-users, capitalizing on sales opportunities, and managing deals independently within established guidelines.

As a Sales Executive, you will:

  • Achieve booking and profit goals based on your quota.
  • Develop a pipeline of opportunities, forecast expected orders, and deliver results.
  • Understand the marketplace, competitors, and customer decision influencers across regions and segments.
  • Create strategic growth plans and identify new business opportunities.
  • Act as a consultant to customer organizations, understanding their challenges and recommending solutions.
  • Participate in industry events and professional organizations to build your network.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
  • Spend at least 50% of your time in customer-facing activities, including in-person meetings and site visits.
  • Support existing customers and acquire new ones, with approximately 10% overnight travel.

You will need the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience selling large, integrated commercial security systems (3+ years for senior level, 6+ years for account executive).
  • Ability to demonstrate financial, organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license and legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, software, IoT, and networking.
  • Understanding of marketing, positioning, and selling cloud-based, data-driven services.
