Job Overview:

Select One Security LLC is actively seeking a results-driven System Design Consultant to generate and close new sales opportunities in the residential, commercial, industrial, and government low-voltage systems market. This is an exciting commission-only role where your earnings are directly tied to your performance-and the potential is sky-high. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prospect, network, and build relationships to generate leads and drive new business opportunities.
  2. Meet with residential and commercial clients to assess their low-voltage system needs and design customized solutions, including automation, security, surveillance, access control, and more.
  3. Conduct sales presentations with confidence and professionalism, closing deals to meet or exceed sales goals.
  4. Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to generate referrals and repeat business.
  5. Lead, manage, and mentor the System Design Consultant team to achieve sales and performance targets.
  6. Oversee the design and technical feasibility of low-voltage systems, ensuring solutions align with client needs and industry best practices.
  7. Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement sales strategies, training programs, and process improvements.
  8. Monitor sales metrics, forecast revenue, and evaluate team performance to optimize results.
  9. Support consultants in high-value or complex sales opportunities, providing coaching and hands-on assistance.
  10. Foster a culture of continuous learning through weekly training and development sessions.
  11. Ensure quality control, regulatory compliance, and adherence to company guidelines in all system design deliverables.
  12. Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews for design consultants.
  13. Serve as a liaison between sales, operations, and project management teams for seamless client delivery.
  14. Drive strategic business development by identifying new market opportunities and partnerships.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 3 years of successful outside sales experience Strong passion for sales and a competitive, results-oriented mindset.
  2. Proven track record of success in outside sales, with a strong passion for sales and a competitive, results-oriented mindset.
  3. Extensive experience in the low-voltage, security, or smart home technology industry, with expertise in system design for security, access control, AV, automation, fire alarms, and data networks.
  4. Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate a commission-based sales team.
  5. Strong ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and drive performance through a data-driven, goal-oriented approach.
  6. Highly organized, with a strategic mindset for prospecting, networking, and attending industry training events.
  7. Technologically proficient, with experience using CRM systems, proposal tools, and mobile applications to streamline sales processes.
  8. Comfortable explaining and demonstrating smart home and business technology solutions to clients.

Preferred Experience:

  1. Experience in low-voltage electrical or similar industries is highly preferred.
  2. Background in residential or commercial technology integration a plus.
