Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Security Support Specialist to join the Baptist South team. This part-time, night-position requires weekend coverage (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) with possible additional shifts A/0S as needed.

Responsibilities include managing visitor systems, reviewing video and access logs, assisting with access controls, badge creation, extinguisher inspections, and parking violation data entry under the supervision of the Executive Director of Safety & Security.

Qualifications

• Prior security officer experience preferred.
• High school diploma required.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Location Baptist South.

We are looking for a Security Support Specialist to join our Baptist South team. This is a part-time, nights opportunity that will require you to work Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM. This role also requires flexibility to provide occasional coverage Monday through Friday from 8:30 PM to 5:00 AM on an as needed basis.

Security Support Specialist Responsibilities

• This position provides logistical and technical support to the Safety & Security department by running the visitor management systems
• Assisting Security Officers with investigations by reviewing of video surveillance systems and access control logs
• Assists with access controls systems & checking in visitors
• Create badges for the system
• Conduct fire extinguisher inspections
• Data entry for parking violations and support the Safety & Security department as directed by the Executive Director of Safety & Security

Security Support Specialist Experience Requirements

• Prior Security Officer Experience Preferred

Security Support Specialist Education & Credential Requirements

• High School Diploma Required

This Security Support Specialist will be located at Baptist South.
