Job summary

KSON Security Services LLC is seeking Security Supervisors to oversee Security Hosts at downtown Nashville venues. The role emphasizes safety for guests, team members, and company assets in high-volume nightlife environments.

The position supports on-site training, licensing, and flexible shifts; part-time and full-time openings are available. Prior restaurant, bar, or nightlife security experience is preferred, not entry-level.

Qualifications

• Must have a Tennessee Unarmed Guard Certification within 14 days of employment.
• De-escalation Class within 8 weeks of employment.
• Defensive Tactics Class within 8 weeks of employment.
• First Aid One Certification within 8 weeks of employment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
• Working knowledge of the hospitality industry.
• Basic computer skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint)
• Must not have been convicted of any crime for which registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead all Security Hosts. Act as a role model to all Team Members and encourage others to do the same.
• Prevent indecent and prohibited behavior, and damage to Company property.
• Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact.
• Patrol assigned area and observe all areas to preserve order among guests and property.
• Respond to disturbances and defuse situations; be prepared for physical confrontation if necessary.
• Observe, report, and take action on suspicious or undesirable guests; notify Security Manager of incidents.
