Job summary

Englewood Health is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee security operations on the night shift at Englewood, NJ. You will supervise security personnel, coordinate incident responses, and ensure accurate event documentation while upholding hospital policies and delivering patient-focused service.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of supervisory security experience, strong communication skills, and CPR/First Aid knowledge.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of supervisory, security, and/or law enforcement experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook preferred
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Thorough understanding of hospital and system-wide policies and procedures
• Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment when responding to security and safety incidents
• Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records and reports
• Ability to react appropriately and effectively in emergency situations
• Knowledge of CPR and first aid
• Knowledge of portable fire extinguishers and their locations throughout the facility
• Skill in the operation of portable radio communication devices
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to walk quickly and climb stairs when responding to incidents and emergencies
• Ability to see and hear accurately in both daytime and nighttime conditions
• Ability to assist with moving or lifting patients in excess of 100 pounds when necessary
• Ability to work outdoors and perform duties in adverse weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, wind, and snow
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, motivate, and support security personnel
• Ability to provide professional, courteous, and customer-focused service to patients, visitors, physicians, and staff

Job Summary

Job Qualifications

Annual Compensation:

$ 55,848

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
