Job Summary

Security Officer I will assume responsibility for the safety and well-being of patients, employees, physicians, visitors, and hospital property. These responsibilities include continuous surveillance, reporting and documenting all incidents and remaining sensitive to the need for delivery of quality guest services and assistance to all persons visiting the hospital.

Job Qualifications

• Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to walk and climb stairs rapidly
• Ability to see and hear accurately in both day and nighttime conditions
• Ability to maneuver lifting patients in excess of 100 lbs.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions - extreme heat, cold, rain, wind and snow

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources. Minimum rate: $16.50/hour
