Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Supervisor Security Officer for a Class A building post. You will lead gate guards, coordinate posts, and ensure constant coverage while delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications include 2+ years in security, a high school diploma, and familiarity with access control/CCTV. Must be US-authorized and able to pass comprehensive screening. GardaWorld offers competitive pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of relevant experience in security, public safety, loss prevention, or military service in a corporate office setting preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree is preferred.
• Current certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED is a plus.
• Familiarity with security protocols and systems including access control and CCTV.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and possess valid certifications/licenses as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct gate guard and concierge officers during assigned shift.
• Assign posts, monitor performance, and ensure coverage at all times.
• Provide guidance, training, and coaching to officers on procedures and customer service.
• Conduct shift briefings, pass-downs, and post inspections.
• Enforce company policies, post orders, and client-specific requirements.
• Customer service duties like welcoming visitors and verifying identity.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.

As a Security Officer – corporate office, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people on all shifts, in environments such as offices, towers, hotels, etc.

Responsibilities of a Site Supervisor Officer:

• Supervise and direct gate guard and concierge officers during assigned shift
• Assign posts, monitor performance, and ensure coverage at all times
• Provide guidance, training, and coaching to officers on procedures and customer service
• Conduct shift briefings, pass-downs, and post inspections
• Enforce company policies, post orders, and client-specific requirements
• Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Provide coverage for inbound and outbound truck gatelanes as needed
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications for Concierge Security Guard

• Experience: At least two (2) years of relevant experience in security, public safety, loss prevention, or military service in a corporate office setting preferably
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree is preferred
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with public safety and security protocols, including experience operating security systems such as access control and CCTV
• Certifications: Current certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED is a plus
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Core Competencies: Demonstrated skills in observation, problem solving, and customer service
• Technology Proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (Windows-based platforms)
• Licensing: Possession of all valid certifications and licenses required under applicable state laws
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
