Position Overview

Securitas is hiring a Security Supervisor in Cambridge, MA.

Essential Functions

1. Supervise Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other personnel at client sites, ensuring post orders are followed, rounds completed, and reports filed; notify authorities and clients in emergencies.
2. Coach, discipline, and meet with personnel; document actions.
3. Train security staff and review assignment details.
4. Assist with payroll and personnel submissions.
5. Coordinate with management to ensure adequate coverage.
6. Prepare and submit reports.
7. Inspect posts and meet with subordinates to outline tasks.
8. Meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and provide customer service.
9. Perform supervisory duties such as interviewing, training, performance appraisal, and disciplinary actions, in accordance with policies and laws.
10. Perform Security Officer duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. and 2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred: 2 years of retail security experience.

• Possession of applicable security licenses if required.
• Knowledge of security operations, supervisory practices, and safety devices.
