Join Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. as a Security Supervisor at a college campus in Cambridge, MA. We are hiring for a mid-senior level full-time position.

Essential Functions

1. Supervise Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other personnel; ensure post orders are followed, rounds completed, and reports filed; notify authorities and clients in emergencies.
2. Coach, discipline, and meet with personnel; document actions.
3. Train staff; review post details and assignments.
4. Assist in payroll and personnel submissions.
5. Ensure adequate coverage of posts and positions.
6. Prepare and submit reports.
7. Inspect posts and outline responsibilities.
8. Meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements and customer service standards are met.
9. Perform supervisory duties such as interviewing, training, performance appraisal, and disciplinary actions as per company policies and legal requirements.
10. May perform Security Officer duties as needed.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or G.E.D. with at least 2 years of related experience; retail experience preferred. Must meet state and local licensing requirements and demonstrate knowledge of security operations, supervisory practices, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Physical and Mental Demands

Must maintain composure, handle stressful situations, work overtime if needed, and perform physical activities including walking, climbing, lifting, and operating controls. Ability to communicate effectively and handle sensitive information is essential.
