Qualifications

• Must have New York State Security Guard License.
• 8-Hour Pre-Assignment Training Certificate.
• 16-Hour On-the-Job Training Certificate.
• Prior experience as Security Supervisor in residential, corporate, concierge, or customer-facing security roles preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to stay calm and exercise sound judgment in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and welcoming presence for residents, guests, and vendors.
• Monitor building access points and be aware of activity.
• Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and security concerns.
• Maintain shift logs, incident reports, and daily activity records.
• Assist with package handling and vendor deliveries when required.
• Maintain control of building and concierge keys.
• Identify and report suspicious activity or safety hazards.
• Coordinate with building management to support daily operations.
• Enforce policies while staying calm and professional.
• Communicate clearly during shift transitions for continuity.
