Job summary

Wind Creek Hospitality is seeking a Security Supervisor in Miami to lead security operations for the casino, hotel and property assets. You will supervise security staff, conduct patrols, respond to incidents, and ensure guest and employee safety around the property.

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, 2 years security or law enforcement experience, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities. You must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older.
• Two (2) year law enforcement, military, or other security capacity required.
• OR Two (2) year of experience in a front of the house position required.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
• Must complete Title 31 training as required as a condition of employment.
• Must be able to stand/walk for entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Provides security and control of casino, hotel and property assets.
• Performs general Security patrols.
• Provides medical assistance as required.
• Responds to incidents involving guests.
• Checks identification, prevents theft and controls crowds.
• All aspects of guest and employee safety.
• Verifies gaming machine access; Verifies gaming machine payouts.
• Provides Key Control and Radio communications.
• Escorts team members and guests.
• Provides guest service and head counting.
• Reports employee violations of established policies and procedures.
• Communicates emergency procedures via radio communications.
• Patrols entrance/exit doors and parking lots.
• Provides security at special events.
• Drives company vehicles and shuttles.
• Other job duties as assigned.

Schedule

Wind Creek Hospitality Security Teams operate 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Days/shifts are assigned to meet the needs of the organization, and are subject to change to meet the needs of the organization. Positions include week-end and holiday shifts.

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or GED -preferred
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older -required.
• Two (2) year law enforcement, military, or other security capacity- required
• OR Two (2) year of experience in a front of the house position- required
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing in both English and Spanish-required
• Must complete Title 31 training as required as a condition of employment
• Must successfully pass job interview.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for entire shift
• Willing and able to work odd or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
• Must have a current State driver's license and an insurable driving record; for purposes of driving company vehicles
• Must have a State Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position
• Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
