Amentum in Chantilly, VA, is seeking an Area Security Specialist to provide comprehensive physical and personnel security support for a government customer in a dynamic environment. You will handle intake of clearance paperwork, manage data entry, and coordinate security actions across task teams.

The role requires a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance, a bachelor’s degree, and experience with badges, access control, and ICD 704/705.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years CSO experience.
• Proficient with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Familiar with security and cover relationships across varying contract classifications.
• Knowledge of ICD 704/705 and applicable guidance.
• Working knowledge of badging systems.
• Experience with processing special badge requests (ID cards and photo badges).
• Hands-on knowledge with troubleshooting vaults and access control issues.
• Must possess TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph at time of application.

Responsibilities

• Intake/distribution of clearance paperwork and data entry into customer system of record.
• Case/task initiation and paperwork review for completion/content.
• Clearance repository checks; reciprocity tasks; document review and redaction.
• Records management and other security administration tasks as assigned.
