Job summary

Amentum is seeking a physical security specialist in the Salt Lake City area to support a US intelligence community customer. The role focuses on access control, vigilance, and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced security environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring restricted areas, verifying access, protecting against prohibited items, and maintaining high situational awareness while delivering confident, clear communication.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Poly required.
• Ability to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift with 24/7 operations.
• Commitment to working one weekend shift every weekend.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license and reside within 75 miles of Salt Lake City, UT.
• U.S. citizenship and fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access of employees and visitors to restricted areas.
• Ensure prohibited and restricted items do not enter or leave the building.
• Diligently monitor your restricted area and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain alertness and effective communication in all interactions.
• Adapt to changes in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
