Job summary

AMEWAS is seeking a highly motivated and talented Security Specialist (IBST)-Journeyman to support Advanced Aircraft Research, Development, Test & Evaluation. This role requires DoD Secret clearance and on-site work at Patuxent River, MD.

The Digital Analytics, Infrastructure, and Technology Advancement (DAiTA) Group leads the IBST Department, focusing on security, testing, and evaluation of DoD programs. Join a team advancing national security and warfighter capabilities.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with JADE.
• Knowledge of DoD security standards (NISPOM, ICD-705, Security Directives).
• DoD Secret Clearance required (current on onboarding).

Responsibilities

• Meet DoD SAP requirements within the CSO.
• Process and track personnel security actions (PARs, nominations, reports, briefings).
• Interface with customer counterparts professionally.
• Create procedures for secure and successful execution of programs.
• Administer classified material per NISPOM.
• Plan and supervise facility accreditation per ICD-705.
