Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a Security Guard in Wilmington, Delaware to protect residents, staff, visitors and property. You will conduct proactive patrols, monitor security systems and control access to maintain a safe environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in security, law enforcement, emergency services, or related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CPR, AED and First Aid certifications or ability to obtain within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of residents, team members, visitors and property through proactive patrols, monitoring cameras, access control and other life-safety systems.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, fire alarms and security incidents while maintaining a visible security presence to deter misconduct and promote a safe environment.
