ProSync is seeking a Mid-Level Operations Security Specialist to support OPSEC programs protecting sensitive information and critical activities for DoD and IC environments. You will evaluate risks, implement measures, and ensure compliance while partnering with government customers and security teams.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience in operational security, risk management or related areas.
• Experience conducting reviews, assessments, inspections or compliance activities.
• Knowledge of OPSEC concepts, risk assessment methods and threat mitigation.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in DoD, IC or government environments preferred.
• Must hold an active IAT/IAM Level II certification (e.g. Security+, SSCP, CISSP, etc.).
• A Top Secret security clearance or higher with SAP/SAR eligibility is required.

ProSync is seeking a passionate Mid-Level Operations Security Specialist to support and execute Operations Security (OPSEC) programs that protect sensitive information, critical capabilities, and mission-essential activities. This role is responsible for evaluating operational risks, identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and ensuring compliance with government security requirements. The ideal candidate is capable of working independently and partnering with government customers, mission partners, and security teams to strengthen operational security across complex environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

A Mid-Level Operations Security Specialist will be tasked with the following:

• Execute operational security programs in support of mission-critical activities and government objectives.
• Conduct OPSEC assessments to identify vulnerabilities, indicators, and potential adversary exploitation opportunities.
• Analyze operational activities and develop recommendations to reduce risk and improve mission protection.
• Review mission processes, programs, and operations to ensure compliance with OPSEC policies and procedures.
• Support development and implementation of OPSEC plans, risk mitigation strategies, and security awareness initiatives.
• Conduct security reviews, inspections, and compliance assessments.
• Coordinate with government customers, program personnel, and security professionals regarding operational security concerns.
• Develop reports, briefings, threat assessments, and security recommendations for leadership.
• Support investigations and reviews concerning operational security incidents and security violations.
• Assist in identifying emerging threats and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
• Provide OPSEC guidance and support to mission partners and program personnel.

• Three (3) or more years of experience supporting operational security, intelligence operations, military operations, risk management, compliance programs, or related disciplines.
• Experience conducting security reviews, assessments, inspections, or compliance activities.
• Knowledge of operational security concepts, risk assessment methodologies, and threat mitigation practices.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within DoD, Intelligence Community, or government environments preferred.
• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deliver results in fast-paced operational environments.
• Must hold an active IAT/IAM Level II certification. (i.e. Security+, CySA+, SSCP, GICSP, GSEC, CND, CCNA Security, CASP+/SecurityX, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CCNP Security, CCSP, etc.)
• A minimum Top Secret security clearance or higher with SAP/SAR eligibility is required to be considered for this position.
  

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university (OR) an Associate’s Degree plus 4 years of additional relevant work experience may be substituted. In lieu of a degree, 6 years of additional relevant work experience may be substituted.
